Frequency detuning

MIDA

Short definition

Keeping the working frequency away from resonances: r = f_work / f_mode stays far from 1.

Full definition

Assembly modes inside 10–200 Hz must be avoided by frequency detuning (G7/G8): as r → 1 the dynamic factor D → 1/(2ζ) and forces peak. The engine prints a note about in-band modes, and they appear as curve peaks on the sweep chart. Standard practice: keep f_work in the 18–33 Hz physiological band and as far from detected modes as possible.

Examples

Mode 45.5 Hz, ζ = 0.25 → a 25–35 Hz working range is safe.
