MIDA
Model of Imitation of Long-Term Adaptations
Short definition
Mathematical model by Prof. V.N. Seluyanov for forecasting long-term muscle adaptations.
Full definition
MIDA is the Model of Imitation of Long-Term Adaptations by Prof. V.N. Seluyanov. It describes the dynamics of myofibril (MF) and mitochondria (MX) mass, endocrine gland (MG), hormones in gland/blood/muscle (HG, HB, HM) and H+ ions under training loads, enabling forecasts of strength, hypertrophy and endurance.
Examples
12-week MIDA simulation with isometric training 3 times a week.
