MX (Mitochondria)
Mitochondria
Short definition
Mitochondria — energy-producing cell structures; their mass determines endurance.
Full definition
MX (mitochondria) are cell organelles producing ATP aerobically. In MIDA, MX growth improves aerobic endurance and accelerates recovery, but excessive MX can compete with MF growth. Stimulated by aerobic-heavy loads.
Examples
After an aerobic cycle MX grew from 0.4 to 0.6.
