Aero Dose

Aerobic Dose

MIDA

Short definition

Aerobic dose — quantitative measure of aerobic load stimulating mitochondria (MX).

Full definition

Aero Dose integrates aerobic work (HR × duration) into a load measure that stimulates mitochondrial and vascular growth. In MIDA, the balance of Stress Dose and Aero Dose sets the adaptation direction (strength/hypertrophy vs endurance).

Examples

Aero Dose 40 min at HR 130 = 5200 units.
